mixtesCatalan players winners of the IV Torneo Internacional Villa de San Andrés de Gym Racket, competed on synthetic turf tracks at CN Sant Andreu, where Gerard Rodriguez and Antonio Ridao won in the finalsagainst the Italian team of Davide Aloisi and Eugenio Casadio.
The women's finals were all Catalan teams and repeated the results of the Championship of Catalonia, where the team of Begoña de Toro y Tania González once again defeated the world champions Gemma Egea and Laura Herrero.

Top Beach Tennis Players Competed in the IFBT 2013 Puerto Rico Beach Tennis Championships

puertorico3Rio Grande, Puerto Rico – Some of the top Beach Tennis Players in the world competed from November 22nd – 24th, in the 4th annual Puerto Rico Beach Tennis Championships, an IFBT–G1 event, which concluded the International Beach Tennis Federation's (IFBT) World Tour. The event was held in the beautiful beach of the Wyndham Río Mar Beach Resort, where many nations were represented including players from Brazil, Colombia, France, Germany, Mexico, St. Martin, Venezuela, the USA and of course the local Puerto Rican competitors. Play was in the OPEN / ADVANCED categories, paddle action only.

IFBT's Hosts First Beach Tennis International Championship in the Canary Islands-Spain

canarias1Las Palmas Gran Canaria (Canary Island) organized its first tournament IFBT Grade 2.
The beach tennis tournament was organized by Approba, who has extensive experience in organizing tennis tournaments on this island. In Men's Doubles, the promising young player, Saulo Tejada, participating with well known in the beach tennis world Antomi Ramos, won in the finals against Alejandro Hernandez and Mladen Stankovic.
